Announcing the Jordan Scholarship
It is with heavy hearts that we remember and honor the life of Jordan Beyelia, a beautiful young soul whose journey was tragically cut short by an overdose. Born on February 3, 1987,Jordan was a passionate musician with a deep love for creating and sharing music. His talent, warmth, and infectious spirit left an impression on all who knew him.
Jordan’s life was full of potential, but like so many, he struggled with the complexities of addiction. Taken from us much too soon at the age of 20, Jordan’s story is a reminder of the fragility of life and the importance of compassion, support, and understanding in the face of addiction.
In honor of Jordan’s memory, this scholarship has been established to provide financial assistance to those in need of addiction treatment or help covering the costs of an intervention. The goal of the scholarship is to ensure that others, who like Jordan, may be struggling, have the opportunity to receive the life-saving care and support they deserve.
Jordan’s legacy lives on through this fund—offering hope, healing, and a chance for others to find a path to recovery. While his time with us was far too brief, we hope that his story inspires others to seek the help they need and to embrace the possibility of a brighter future.
If you or someone you know is struggling, please reach out. There is always hope.
Rest easy, Jordan. You will forever be in our hearts.

Sam woke up on February Third thinking of his brother. Sam wished with his whole heart that he could be with his big brother on this special day. Sam wondered what he would give Jordan for his birthday if they could be together. Sam jumped out of bed but was surprised by the sensation of freely falling. When he looked around he realized he was no longer in his room, but in space.
Sam saw a planet near by so he floated towards it. The planet was beautiful resonating purples, reds, blues, a heartwarming sound came from it, like the most precious of angels singing.
When Sam reached the planet there was a young man there. The young man was sitting singing and playing guitar. The guitar was beautiful, it looked as though is had many intricate designs carved into the wood, it reminded Sam of vines tangled together elegantly. The boy sang these words “but now I feel changed around and instead of falling down. I’m standing up the morning after.”
The man introduced himself as Elliot. “I’ve become a good friend of Jordan’s. I know you are looking for the perfect gift for your brother. Give him this guitar.” Sam took the guitar and studied the intricate design. In incredibly tiny but decipherable writing Sam read all the lyrics Jordan and James ever wrote, along with the lyrics to all of Jordan’s favorite songs. Sam looked up at Elliot, “Thank you but how will I ever get a gift to my brother?” All Elliot did was point westward towards a planet Sam was sure was not there before. When Sam looked back to Elliot he was gone, so Sam continued upon his journey.

Sam arrived at a planet that was deep purple. Sam saw a man with long reddish brown hair, aviator glasses and a huge grin. He was smoking a cigarette when he introduced himself as Mitch. “You know I was just chewing a stick of CareFree gum but it didn’t work. I felt pretty good while I was blowing that bubble but once it lost it’s flavor I was back to pondering my mortality.” Sam gave him a chuckle. “You looking for your brother?” “I guess so, I don’t really know how this all came to be…” when Sam said this he realized he meant that statement about everything that had happened in the past year. “Well I’ll give you this present for him and send you on your way.” Mitch handed Sam a giant round ruby stone, engraved in the stone was “humor is laughter and laughter is love.” Mitch showed Sam the brightest sky blue planet to go to next.
When Sam got to the blue planet he felt a warming sensation from head to foot, the same way you feel wrapped in your mother’s arms. Sam saw a figure is the distance, bathing in the warm sunlight reading a book. As Sam got closer he knew it was Jordan. Jordan put his book down and smiled at Sam. Sam was crying as he drew closer to Jordan. Sam showed Jordan all the priceless gifts he brought Jordan for his birthday. Jordan looked at the gifts and then looked at Sam and said
“All I want from you buddy is a hug, that is the most precious of gifts for me.” Sam snuggled up with Jordan in his lap and talked of their many adventures they’ve had in the past year. Sam crawled in close to Jordan and fell asleep on that warm loving planet.
When Sam awoke he was in his bed, but there was a note in his pajama pocket, it said “You are the most precious of gifts.”
